Week 2 - Sermon "Preparing His People"

Biblical waiting involves active participation not passive resignation. We are challenged with two aspects of active participation. Those being joining together in loving interdependence and a shared dependence on God expressed through pray with other Christ followers.

Tranformation is a work of God. I as an individual and we as a church need transformation. God will move in response to the united prayers of His people. Tim Haugen gave us two action step of having a prayer partner and joining in the "First Tuesday" prayer meeting which is February 7 at 7 pm. Another practicle step is our small groups. I encourage you to use the prayer focus for each week. We have 48 small groups. Do you think God will respond and honor our prayers? I do! Let's pray for the glory our Lord is due.
