"First Tuesday" - January 10th

Wow! What an awesome evening we had. Over 150 people showed up for our time of corporate prayer last night. God was here also in a big way. It was evident that the Holy Spirit was among us. Just the "buzz" in the auditorium. It was great to seek God together.

To me personally, Acts 2:42-47 came to mind. In this passage the Christ followers devoted themselves to prayer. And verse 47 says "praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. . ." After our time of prayer people hung around and we got to know each other more. It was a great feeling of community and unity.

Without God we are merely ordinary men and women. With God we can be courageous men and women in advancing Jesus' reign. Acts 4:13 "When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus."

I am looking expectantly to our next "First Tuesday" on February 7.
