Does Jerry Sheveland nail it in this lesson. Our boldness is wrapped up in our vision of God.
I am dumbfounded therefore, I am simply going to type this paragraph from the lesson:
Do we (I) genuinely believe God is Sovereign and capable of bringing all things into submission to his will? Do we (I) genuinely believe Christ when he says, "All authority in heaven and in earth has been given to me. . . and surely I am with you always?" It is our confidence in him that breaks the bonds of fear and sets us free to be bold in prayer and bold in witness.
God, increase my vision of you.

I guess He slaps us in the chops and Say's "I'm tired of you playing church too! If we really are pursuing Christ' Reign throughout all our lives, where is He now? I submit, don't leave our tough teaching and work to Nicky
Gumbel of Alpha fame all the way from England via video. Let's encourage our spiritual teachers to put Nicky out of business at FCC by teaching the same message. Wow, is that radical or what?
It's not radical at all. Apparently the vision of God must be greater over there. God, Increase my and FCC's vision of you.
